Titansorb is a titanium based granular media that removes arsenic from water through the combined oxidative and absorptive properties of titanium dioxide. Titansorb is designed to work in a variety of system sizes from whole house to point of use. Existing arsenic treatment technologies are very poor at removing arsenic III, this gives Titansorb a great advantage over other similar products. Titansorb can treat both arsenic III and arsenic V and requires only a short contact time. A contact time between 2 minutes and 30 seconds is all thats needed to reduce arsenic to levels less than 10 ppb. Titansorb can be used to remove arsenic and other heavy metals across a wide range of PH and different water conditions. Under typical conditions Titansorb has been shown to remove 30 grams of arsenic and 15 grams of arsenite per kilogram of media.
